the pitch
A comedy-adventure story about identity, family, loss and overcoming fear. Also a love letter to London and its multicultural community in this case represented in bird form; exploring their loves, their dangers, their challenges, and what might happen if a baby owl was raised by an unlikely surrogate family. The result is a wild world of colourful birds and a larger social message that it’s OK to be different.
“Your script is beautiful. It made me really miss London, and I could just imagine flying over all those sights.”
“I thought this was a delightful script. I liked the broad canvas of characters & the way they all fill a niche in terms of social class. It feels like a great world of lively birds, their loves, their dangers, & also has a larger social message which is great!”
